Who is Joe Tizzard?
In his own words ...
I have been a National Hunt Jockey now for 13 years and ridden nearly 600 winners. I have been 1st Jockey for Paul Nicholls for two seasons and I am now stable jockey and assistant trainer to my father Colin Tizzard.
During my career to date I have ridden three Cheltenham Festival winners. I have also ridden in the Aintree Grandnational 12 times, with my best result being 5th the year after I had 9 months off due to breaking my back in a ride at Hereford.
